Do I get any interest on my savings?

Do I get any interest on my savings?

All members are part-owners of the credit union and share in its success. Instead of interest being paid, when the credit union is doing well a dividend is given at the end of each year however this is not guaranteed.
The more savings that you have, the more dividend you earn, based on your average savings balance over our financial year (1st October to 30th September). The dividend is approved by the AGM each year and usually paid to members before the end of March. Dividend is paid on share accounts, including Christmas Club and savings attached to a loan, but not on Engage Account.
